The McSherrystown Moose is a Family Center that was originally established in 1952. A newly remodeled building was added in recent years included a huge storage area with walk in freezers, huge banquet room accommodating 200 guests, remodeled original bar room downstairs. The upstairs built on included large kitchen that is fully loaded with a walk-in freezer and frig, a service area and a large working kitchen area. The large bar was built to seat 50 people. There is a separate dining area that can be petitioned off if needed for privacy. This room includes video games for all ages, and is a perfect area for the band nights and 15 plus tables including dance floor space for all fun to be had. There is also a separate service bar for overflow accommodations from the bar area. The bar area also has 13 high tables and the upper deck area which seats 7 bar stools, called the "Squire Box" which has the perfect view of the Delone Football field for those fun football nights. Two large restrooms were also added as well as an administrator's office, liquor room & storage room.
